Danetre is a popular 11-18 fully comprehensive school where our young people are challenged to discover and develop their talents and abilities and make maximum use of these. Danetre School was inspected by Ofsted in June 2008. The Report recognised the high quality of education that the school provides with improved examination results and a high level of care for students.

“The overall effectiveness of Danetre School is good. Over the last few years, the school's results in national tests and public examinations have steadily improved…….students' achievement is good…..All groups of students, including those who are vulnerable, make good progress……The better achievement and higher standards are the result of good teaching and learning…….The students' learning is enriched by a high level of participation in extra-curricular activities…..The good provision…is supported by strong care, guidance and support for the students. The school rightly prides itself on its outstanding provision in inclusion……Students enjoy coming to school and feel proud to be part of it…….Behaviour is good, reflecting the good ethos of the school.” (Ofsted June 2008)

Celebration of Excellence and Achievement Evening – October 15^th 2009

Students from Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Sixth Form, along with those who left the school after taking their G.C.S.E exams, were invited to an evening that highlighted the achievements of our young people. Over 50 prizes were awarded which had been generously sponsored by local businesses, Daventry Rotary Club and Friends of Danetre School.

Our speakers were Anne Donaldson, President of Daventry Rotary Club and Tim Boswell MP.
